Sunset Youth Cheer Program is for students grades K-8!
​
SYC cheers sideline for the Sunset Youth Football League in the fall & has a competition team that competes in the winter. We are a feeder program for Sunset High School Cheerleading!

We are thrilled be entering our 20th Season in 2026.​

March 1- Registration Open

April 6-20 Uniform drop at the Pinedas for those wanting to sell pieces
April 15 8-9pm Zoom Parent Meeting for middle schoolers interested in trying out for Sunset Gold Meeting: ID: 891 9201 8272 / Passcode: 478999
April 20 Registration Closes
*we do unfortunately have to be strict about this and do not take late registration.
April 22 Uniform Resale night at the St Pius Youth Center (green building on Saltzman)
6-6:30 for Kinder-3rd graders
6:30-7pm for 4th-8th graders
April 29 : 6:30-8:30 Sunset Gold Tryouts at Sunset High School
May 11 New Uniform Fitting at Golden Valley Brewery 6-8 for those who need to purchase a whole new uniform or need to be fitted for certain pieces.
Aug 10 Gear Season Kickoff / Team Bonding for all teams / gear pass out
Aug 12-14 NCA/SYC Home Camp at Sunset HS for the whole program
Aug 17-19 Camp for Sunset Gold (Middle School select team) - Day Camp at Lakeridge HS
Aug 17 Practice begins

Monday
K-2nd grade: 6-7pm
3-4th grade: 6-7:30pm
5-8th grade: 6-7:30pm - optional
Wednesday
5th-8th grade 5:30-7:30pm
